From the end of July to the beginning of August, I was in Macedonia with friends of the JNM and Eco-Logic. Together with some friends I organized a youth camp with 10 Belgians and 10 Macedonians. We had a great time, but on this kind of trips, there is not much space for photography.

I tried to make the best of it and below you can see the results. I was really happy with finding a Nose-horned viper (Vipera ammodytes), since it was about 7 years ago I observed one. The other pictures show a Balkan Stream frog (Rana graeca), Dalmatian frog (Rana dalmatina), grashopper (most likely of the genus Poecilimon), Hermann’s tortoise (Testudo hermanni), the island of Golem Grad (also called Snake Island) in lake Prespa and a portrait of a Dice snake (Natrix tessellata) respectively. A country definitely worth visiting! photocrati gallery
